Farmer Rhys looks after his flock of sheep and herd of cows.

In the summertime, Farmer Rhys grows long grass which he turns into bales of hay. The cows and sheep eat this during the cold winter months when the grass doesn't grow. 

Springtime is a very busy time on the farm as this is when all the baby lambs are born.

The sheep get too hot in the summer so Farmer Rhys shears off their warm wooly fleeces  to keep them comfortable. Their fleeces can then be spun into wool to make wooly jumpers, hats & scarves.

Farmer Rhys drives a tractor, and after work he likes to take his sheepdogs out for long walks.
